UNAMA strongly condemns this morning’s suicide attack in Khogiani district of Nangarhar province whose principal victims were reportedly civilians.  We share the outrage of all Afghans at such indiscriminate targeting of innocent people.

Our condolences go to the families and communities of those killed or injured.  We also note that the circumstances of this attack illustrate the unmistakable bonds of partnership between terrorists and drug traffickers.
