While it is common to see women still wearing the burqa in Afghanistan, some prefer to wear hijabs.

The hijab is common in all Muslim countries and, as seen here, is meant to cover the entire body with the exception of the face and hands. The attire is also not form fitting or eye-catching as to attract undue attention or reveal the shape of a woman’s body.
