A
slice of Paris in Kabul
This
replica of the world famous Eiffel Tower sits at a roundabout in
the Taimani section of Kabul.
The
idea behind the metal structure, which took two months to build,
is the brainchild of a hotel owner who visited the Paris-based wonder
and was amazed at the number of people it attracted. The hotelier
is hoping his mini tower will help draw tourists as Kabul continues
to go through major reconstruction following years of conflict that
leveled the capital city.
