UNAMA
December 2006 Poll:
42% of voters believe that the Taliban is most
to blame for slow development in Afghanistan.
An informal online poll, conducted by the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan
during the month of December 2006 has found that a majority of respondents
believe that the Taliban is to blame for slow development in Afghanistan.
The UNAMA online poll permits respondents one vote per computer. It is an informal poll only and is open to participation by any visitor to the UNAMA website www.unama-afg.org. For September 2006, and based on data showing geographic location of servers, we estimate that up to 6 percent of respondents may have been UNAMA staff.
A new poll question appears each month on the UNAMA website.
