An informal online poll, conducted by the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan during the month of April 2008 has found that 45 percent of respondents think that security should be SRSG's priority this year while 32 percent of respondents believe that reconstruction should be the priority.

The UNAMA online poll permits respondents one vote per computer. It is an informal poll only and is open to participation by any visitor to the UNAMA website www.unama-afg.org. For September 2007, and based on data showing geographic location of servers, we estimate that up to 6 percent of respondents may have been UNAMA staff.
