during the month of August 2007 has found that 64 percent of respondents
believe that the most important factor for peace in Afghanistan is increased development activities, while only 17% percent believe that military measures are important.
The UNAMA online poll permits respondents one vote per computer. It is an informal poll only and is open to participation by any visitor to the UNAMA website www.unama-afg.org. For September 2006, and based on data showing geographic location of servers, we estimate that up to 6 percent of respondents may have been UNAMA staff.
